OOC PREFERENCES: Permissions for OOC game activity

CONTACT METHODS: Twitter will probably get you the fastest response. Gchat comes in second. E-mails will be responded to with a surety, just not necessarily as quickly. I have an AIM... I think.
THREADJACKING: If it's labeled private, keep it private. Otherwise, have at.
SLOWTAGGING/BACKTAGGING: I don't mind slow tagging or back dating. If it's been too long and I've lost the mind space for the post, I might let the thread go but contact you to make sure we know where it went. By the same token, if I take too long to tag back and you need to move on, just let me know.
NSFW: A-OK, though I tag slower with this. It requires more thought. Or something.
AVOIDED SUBJECTS: I don't squick very easily. However, if it's something that 99% of the time comes with a trigger warning, a courtesy heads up would be nice.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/Her.

IC CHARACTERISTICS: Information for players

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Sturdy. Stephen's not athletic per say, and he does read an awful lot, but he can be active and does not over eat. He ends up lugging things around and walking enough that he gets a decent amount of physical activity. At school, he's in chinos, a tie and a button down, usually with the sleeves rolled up. He has been known, on several occasions, to wear cardigans. Outside of school, it's jeans with a button down, or a polo shirt.
DEMEANOR: Generally pretty quiet but approachable. If you start a conversation with him, he will be happy to talk, provided you're not an idiot. Even if you are an idiot, he will give you a polite smile and nod along until he can find a way out. He's not intimidating in the least.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: Hand shake guy, not a hugger. If he's comfortable in a situation or with a person, a hand on the arm or a squeeze of the shoulder might happen. He leans a lot and doesn't think much of inching into that personal space. In an uncomfortable situation or with a stranger he doesn't feel good about, his arms cross over his chest and he doesn't let any of himself touch the other.
FLIRTING: He's likely not to notice it happening at first, unless it's very forward. It's simply not his mind frame right now. Once he notices, he'll probably be flattered but politely turn it down.
RELATIONSHIPS: Recently divorced. Badly. He's not closed off to the idea of future relationships. He just doesn't think it's likely or smart.
HOME INFORMATION: Lives by himself in the family's old cottage, a little off the beaten path but close enough to the main drag.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: He's polite to a fault and non-confrontational, so he will attempt to change the subject on anything he finds offensive. Except banning books. He has some opinions on literature.
POWERS: Witch but not very good at off the cuff magic. He needs a book of incantations or potions to do some seriously impressive stuff. That said, his magic comes with a price. Everything he does has some kind of negative consequence which varies in scale. This makes him often very hesitant to use his powers.
WITCH FORM: None.

IC PERMISSIONS: Permissions for IC game activity

RELATIONSHIP CONTROL: Talk to me.
MENTAL: He might summon a little defense, but not much. Anything that would leave lasting damage or greatly change relationships, let me know first. I'll probably say OK.
FIGHTING/VIOLENCE: Generally speaking he avoids fights. When the right buttons are pushed and pushed hard, he will fight back. He's hard to knock down and has a strong arm, but he's not in great shape or a real fighter.
LURING: He's really not looking, so he might not even act on low level luring. But he can be lured and it's OK.
MAGIC: He's done a lot of research on the magical arts, so he'll probably notice something is amiss more than your average witch. Whether he'd be able to fight it: run it by me and we'll figure it out.
